Sarah Murphy
Sarah Murphy is a Durham College graduate, from both the Interactive Media Design (2018) and the Fine Arts-Advanced (2021) programs. Sarah uses many mediums to express herself, but she loves working with video and photography. We're so happy to have Sarah as a New Studio Artist! 😊"I’ve always enjoyed taking pictures at family gatherings, with friends or on vacations. In my current work, I like to focus on objects and nature. Two of my favourite techniques are the framing and freeze methods. It is satisfying to capture a moment in time, like water and droplets in mid-air and I do my best to capture my subject within a unique frame with it's surroundings.
I continue to enhance my photography skills and I’m always looking for new techniques and methods to experiment with."
